41 candidates submit documents for Kuwait parliament election

Forty one Kuwaitis, inculding six females, submitted on Sunday their candidacy documents to Ministry of Interior’s election affairs department to run for the 2023 National Assembly election set on June 6.

The total number of the candidates rose to 254, inculding 15 females, after two nominees withdrew.

The first and second constituenciess included three and 11 competitors respectively.

Eleven candidates submitted their documents in the third constituency, while the fourth one received 12 contestants.

The fifth constituency received four candidates. The candidates are allowed to submit their documents until May 30
