Algeria: army kill two terrorists, arrest four others in May

ALGIERS, The Algerian army announced Friday that it had naturalized two terrorists and found the body of a third perished one in May.

In a press statement, the Army pointed out that four terrorists were nabbed and 17 others surrendered to the military in the corresponding period.

It added that eight elements who were offering support to terrorists were busted and 108 terrorist bunkers were discovered and destroyed.

A large cache of weapons and ammunition were also seized during the month, including dozens of machine guns; rifles; rockets and their launching pads; artillery shells; pistols, grenades; improvised explosive devices; satellite communications devices; and 74 pairs of binoculars, it concluded.
