— President of the Arab Parliament (AP) Adel Al-Asoumi praised on Saturday, the “great role” played by the State of Kuwait on the Arab, regional and international arenas through “wise diplomacy, rational, and discreet policy” led by His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.

In a statement issued by the Arab Parliament, Al-Asoumi praised as well the support by His Highness the Crown Prince, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, which enhances Kuwait’s role in facing the challenges facing the Arab world.

The remarks were made during a visit by Al-Asoumi to the permanent representative of the State of Kuwait in Cairo and the permanent representative to the Arab League Ambassador Ahmad Al-Bakr, which also included the deputy permanent representative, Advisor Falah Al-Mutairi, and senior members of the Kuwaiti mission.

Al-Soumi said that the State of Kuwait, with its “moderate international policy”, was able to maintain “balanced relations” with all parties in a way that enabled Kuwait to play an “active role” in the region and to be appreciated and respected in the regional and international levels.
