Arab parliament denounces Israeli aggression on Jenin

The Arab Parliament on Monday condemned the “bloody” Israeli aggression on the Palestinian West Bank city of Jenin and its refugee camp, which left three people dead, including a child, and multiple casualties.

“What is happening in Jenin, including shelling by aircraft and missiles, gunfire and teas-gas, is a military escalation that could spark a fresh circle of violence,” the parliament said in a press release.

It held the new far-right Israeli government fully responsible for the current happenings in the city of Jenin, according to the release.

The parliament, further, decried international acquiesce to what is going on in the occupied Palestinian territories since Benjamin Netanyahu’s government came to power, denouncing Israeli officials’ statements as spurring further crimes.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health said earlier in the day that three Palestinians, including a child, had been killed and 28 others wounded in an Israeli military raid on Jenin and its refugee camp in the West Bank early Monday.
