Secretary General of Arab and Kuwait Shooting Federations Obaid Al-Osaimi said that the number of participants joining the Asian Championship, which will kick off next Friday, is rapidly increasing.
“More than 20 national teams have participated in the championship so far, which will be held online for the first time, including Olympic skeet, trap, air pistol and rifle for both genders,” said Al-Osaimi.
“A number of 24 shooters have been chosen to represent the Kuwaiti national team for the championship, 3 shooters per game, are training hard and intensively according to a schedule in the upcoming days,” he added.
“The tournament is held under the patronage of President of the Asian Shooting Confederation Sheikh Salman Sabah Al-Salem Al-Humoud Al-Sabah, and have been working with international experts to assure the application of health precautions in the light of the spread of the Coronavirus,” he noted.
