Biden invited to Saudi Arabia for July 15-16 visit — Royal Court

Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz has invited US President Joe Biden to visit the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on July 15-16 for talks on bolstering the bilateral relations and the distinctive strategic partnerships between Riyadh and Washington.

The Saudi Royal Court said in a statement on Tuesday that Biden would meet, during the forthcoming visit to the Kingdom, King Salman and the Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman to discuss cooperation between the two countries and means of facing regional and global challenges.

Biden, during the second day of his presence in the Kingdom, will attend a summit grouping leaders of GCC countries, Arab states, namely Jordanian King Abdullah II, Egyptian President Abdelfattah Al-Sisi and Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhemi.

The US is a main strategic ally for Saudi Arabia as well as other regional states.
