Cairo’s Aquarium Grotto Garden … unique architectural creativity

CAIRO, March 19 (KUNA) — Cairo’s Aquarium Grotto Garden will take you through a beautiful journey with 49 aquariums of diverse and rare Nile, marine, starfish fish, and a unique architectural design inspired by coral life.

The garden is located in Zamalek district and built by Khedive Ismael in 1867, however only kings and princes had been allowed in until 1902, when it was open for the public under the supervision of the Central Administrations for Zoos.

The French Director of Paris Public Parks El Foundou had designed the garden using special materials to create fish gills and coral designs spread all around the garden. (end) aff.ahm
