China’s coronavirus infections register new low

KUWAIT China’s National Health Committee said coronavirus infections in the country registered a new low on Thursday.

A committee spokesman, addressing a news conference in Beijing and monitored in Kuwait, said number of new infected cases continued to drop and has reached new low.

He said number of infectees in Hubei province, epicenter of the virus, was eight over the past 24 hours, while only seven new cases tested positive in other areas.

The committee announced earlier today that 11 people have passed away due to the coronavirus while 15 persons were infected with the disease nationwide, and over 60,000 recovered.

The number of deaths has risen in the past 24 hours to 3,173, while confirmed infectees amounted to 80,980.
