Coronavirus cases rise to 24 in Oman – Health Min.

MUSCAT The Omani Ministry of Health on Monday reported two more coronavirus cases, bringing the country’s total number of confirmed virus cases up to 24.

The two infections are of two Omani citizens who are related to travel, the ministry said in a statement, adding that the new patients are stable and under self-isolation at home.

The novel coronavirus emerged in Wuhan, China last December, and has rapidly spread to over 140 countries, and the World Health Organization has designated the virus a pandemic.
