Dozens of residents of the Hittin residential complex in Al-Alexandria district of Babylon demonstrated, demanding an improvement in electricity and an increase in processing hours.
The demonstrators burned tires and blocked the road linking Musayyib district and Alexandria district, north of Hilla, the center of the governorate.
They threatened to storm the District Directorate building if their demands were not met.
One of the demonstrators stated that the residential buildings in which they live suffer from long hours, up to seven hours of cutting, in exchange for one hour.
