— Kuwait Ambassador to Italuy Sheikh Azzam Mubarak Al-Sabah said Saturday that the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Majdi Al-Dhafiri’s successful visit to Rome aims to developing strategic relations with the European nation.
In a statement to KUNA, the Ambassador said at the conclusion of Al-Dhafiri’s visit and talks with his Italian counterpart, Marina Serini, that these discussions resulted in establishing a broader base of bilateral cooperation.
Expanding and developing cooperation between Kuwait and Italy include continuation of mutual consultation and establishment of regular mechanisms for political consultations between the two countries in preparation for the launch of the strategic dialogue by activating the Kuwaiti-Italian Joint Committee, he said.
