DGCA: 43,156 flights expected in summer 2022

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation expected to operate 43,145 flights in the summer season of 2022, from January 1st until September 30th.

DGCA Deputy Director-General for Planning and Projects Saad Al-Otaibi told KUNA on Sunday that air traffic is expected to reach up to 6,001,221 travelers this summer.

He noted that this large number is divided by 2,994,786 departures and 3,006,435 arrivals in and out of Kuwait International Airport.

He affirmed the DGCA’s preparation by increasing staff and services to absorb these numbers
