DM lauds Kuwaiti, Gulf army duties, sacrifices

Kuwait’s Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Sheikh Talal Khaled Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah said on Monday that the duties and sacrifices made by Kuwaiti and Gulf military personnel are a “source of pride”.

This came during a telephone call by the minister with head of the Kuwaiti force participating in the “Operation Restoration of Hope” in Saudi Arabia, the Ministry’s directorate of moral guidance and public relations said in a statement.

The minister, during the call, conveyed the greetings of His Highness the Amir, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and His Highness the Crown Prince to the Kuwaiti force on Eid Al-Fitr, according to the statement.

The security and stability of Saudi Arabia is an integrated part of the security and stability of the State of Kuwait, the minister stressed, noting that the Kuwaiti force’s participation comes to cement and translate the concept of collective work, and reflects the deep relations and common destiny of all the GCC states.

The minister reiterated that Kuwait’s wise leadership pays much attention to the Kuwaiti army’s personnel who are sharing Saudi brothers in these military operations.

He expressed sincere gratitude to the army personnel for their efforts and sacrifices, praying to Allah the Almighty to maintain security, stability and elevation of GCC states under their leader’s wise leadership.
