Doctors’ cmte: At least 2 people were killed, tens injured after sit-in breaking up

KHARTOUM, The Sudanese Central Committee of Doctors said on Sunday that two people were killed and tens others injured; many critically, in an attempt to break up a sit-in in front of the army’s general command in Khartoum.

Forces of the Declaration of Freedom and Change called for a “full civil disobedience” and “road closures.” In addition, they pushed for the ousting of the Transitional Military Council, as well as reviving the counterrevolutionary approach, the Forces said in a press release.

The mass protests, which broke out in Sudan on December 19, 2018, prompted the military council to depose President Omar Al-Bashir on April 11.
