Egypt condemns terrorist attack on Afghan Council of Ulema

Egypt on Tuesday condemned in the strongest terms the attack carried out by the so-called terrorist Islamic State (IS) or Daesh on the Afghan Council of Ulema (scholars) in Kabul, killing 14 people and wounding 20 others.

The Egyptian Foreign Ministry said in a statement that Egypt stands with the government and people of Afghanistan in the face of terrorism, which aims at undermining security and stability in the country, expressing sincere condolences to the families of the victims.
