CAIRO, Egyptian President Abdelfattah Al-Sisi and Bahraini King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa stressed the importance of boosting Egyptian-Bahraini cooperation and coordination.

This came during President Al-Sisi’s meeting with King Hamad bin Issa, Saturday, in Sharm El-Sheikh, said the official spokesman for the Egyptian presidency, Ambassador Bassam Radi in a statement.

He added that the two leaders welcomed the upcoming summit hosted by Saudi Arabia among the leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, Egypt, Jordan, Iraq, and the United States of America.

During the meeting, the two sides touched on the bilateral deep-rooted ties between the two friendly countries.
