Incumbent Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has obtained so far 53.8 percent after counting 86 percent of the total boxes, leading outcome of presidential elections, initial results revealed on Sunday.
Republican People’s Party’s candidate Muharrem Ince won 30.2 percent, while Meral Aksener got 7.5 percent, according to the results. Six candidates are competing in the presidential race.
Meanwhile, a number of political parties, including the ruling party, are taking part in the parliamentary elections, which were held concurrently with the presidential polls across the country
