Exhibition of Artists from Bulgaria, North Macedonia Unveiled at European Parliament

A joint exhibition of 18 paintings by artists from Bulgaria and North Macedonia was unveiled at the European Parliament (EP) building in Brussels on Tuesday evening, Bulgarian News Agency (BTA) reported. EP President Roberta Metsola said in her opening speech that the event provides an opportunity to show that culture and art can help overcome prejudices and misunderstandings.

European Parliament member Ilhan Kyuchyuk, member of the Renew Europe Group and the Movement for Rights and Freedoms, said that Bulgaria and North Macedonia should deepen their good-neighborly relations and work towards the region’s integration into the EU. Kyuchyuk added that this exhibition proves that culture builds bridges and knows no borders.
