Foreign Minister heads Kuwaiti delegation in joint cmte session in Oman – Politics

KUWAIT, March 12 (KUNA) — Foreign Minister Sheikh Salem Abdullah Al-Jaber Al-Sabah headed on Sunday, the Kuwaiti delegation to the ninth session of the Kuwaiti-Omani joint committee meetings in Muscat, held on 11 – 12 March, while the Omani side was headed by the Omani Foreign Minister Badr Albusaidi.

During the session, both sides discussed many topics mainly economy, development, culture, and environment.

They also discussed ways of enhancing new cooperating methods between the brotherly countries that can reflect the joint desire for developing and strengthening bilateral relations at all levels.

They reviewed the work of the joint committee and the conclusions reached by the various working groups in terms of final decisions, recommendations, and memorandums of understanding and executive programs.

The ninth session of the Kuwaiti-Omani Joint Committee resulted in reaching an agreement on 5 memorandums of understanding and executive programs in the field of diplomatic studies and training, higher education, competition protection and monopoly prevention areas, environment protection, and developing industrial exports.
