PARIS French share prices tumbled again Monday in nervous trading as the Coronavirus crisis dominated investor sentiment, brokerages at the Paris Exchange said.
The CAC 40 index of premium shares fell 5.75 percent to close at 3,881.46 points, falling below the 4,000-point psychological level, operators said.
The market has lost 16 percent over the past week and almost 35 percent in the space of a month.
Boursorama Brokerage said that the market continued to spiral downward despite the intervention of Central Banks to inject liquidity into the Bourse and also despite the 1.0 percent slashing of US interest rates by the Federal Reserve on Sunday.
