KUWAIT CITY: The future of the oil and gas industry will depend heavily on its ability to adapt to rapid technological changes, according to the CEO of Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC), Sheikh Nawaf Saud Al-Nasser Al-Sabah. Speaking at a conference organized by KPC in collaboration with Google Cloud, the CEO emphasized the importance of integrating digital transformation strategies and leveraging artificial intelligence to enhance efficiency and performance in the sector.

According to Kuwait News Agency, Sheikh Nawaf highlighted KPC’s commitment to innovation and authenticity as it pursues its broad strategies. He asserted that KPC and its subsidiary companies are fully prepared to achieve high levels of innovation necessary for the industry’s future development.

Meanwhile, Shaimaa Al-Terkeet, Director General of Google Cloud in Kuwait, expressed the company’s dedication to establishing a prosperous digital ecosystem. This would enable companies, government entities, and individuals to harness the power o
f cloud technology and artificial intelligence. In comments to KUNA, Al-Terkeet noted that Google Cloud’s long-term partnership with KPC is aimed at facilitating digital transformation within the corporation and supporting the national digital economy.
