Vienna: The Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Rafael Grossi, emphasized the significance of maintaining dialogue and serious interactions with Iran regarding unresolved issues in its nuclear program.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the IAEA continues to monitor Iran’s nuclear activities closely. However, the agency is seeking concrete responses from Tehran on critical matters, including the presence of uranium traces at undeclared sites and the methodology behind enriching uranium to levels as high as 60 percent. Grossi communicated these concerns to reporters during the second day of the Board of Governors’ meeting.
Grossi mentioned that the IAEA is prepared to fulfill its technical role in any diplomatic processes that may involve European or American participants. He underscored the urgency of the situation, noting that specific deadlines concerning sanctions and “snapback” measures could significantly impact the ongoing situation.
