Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will start a two-day official visit to Oman on Sunday, the first of its kind.
According to diplomatic sources, Modi will hold talks with Sultan Qaboos bin Saeed on boosting bilateral relations in various fields, especially economic ones.
The two sides will also discuss a number of regional and international issues that concern the two friendly countries, especially the situation in the region, according to the sources.
During the visit, Mody will meet with Deputy Prime Minister for Cabinet Affairs Fahd bin Mahmoud Al Saeed and a number of senior Omani officials to discuss bilateral cooperation between the two countries
