Interior Minister Sheikh Thamer Ali Sabah Al-Sabah and his accompanying delegation returned home late Sunday coming from Bahrain after taking part in the 38th GCC Interior Ministers’ meeting.
During the meeting, the minister discussed the latest security developments on international and regional arenas as well as cooperation with GCC Interior Ministers, the Ministry’s security media, public relations department said in a press statement.
He reiterated Kuwait’s firm and supportive stance to its GCC brothers, and full support to face any risks against the region, it added.
Upon arrival at the airport, the minister was received by Undersecretary Liet. Gen. Sheikh Faisal Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Bahrain’s Ambassador to Kuwait Salah Al-Malki and other senior security officials.
