The US Energy Information Administration (EIA) announced, today, Sunday, that Iraq’s oil exports to America increased during the past week.
It said in its report, “The average US imports of crude oil during the past week from eight major countries amounted to 6.257 million barrels per day, up by 1.230 million barrels per day from the previous week, which amounted to 5.027 million barrels per day.”
It added that the rate of “Iraq’s oil exports to America amounted to 259 thousand barrels per day last week, an increase of 116 thousand barrels as a daily rate from the previous week, which amounted at a rate of 134 thousand barrels per day.”
The EIA indicated that “most of America’s oil imports during the past week came from Canada, followed by Mexico, Saudi Arabia, and then Brazil.”
According to the report, “the amount of US imports of crude oil continues from Colombia, Ecuador, and Nigeria, while it did not import any quantity from Russia or Libya.”/ End
