Israeli warplanes hit more than 25 targets in Gaza ahead of ceasefire

GAZA spokesperson of the Israeli Army Avichay Adraee said the Israeli fighter jets and gunships attacked more than 25 military targets belonging to the Palestinian Hamas movement in Gaza Strip on Tuesday evening.

These targets include warehouses of drones, missiles and other munitions, he said in a press release.

Palestinian sources said the Israeli warplanes fired four missiles at the civil administration in northern Gaza.

No casualties from the air attacks were reported so far.

Meanwhile, Hamas and the Islamic Jihad movements affirmed that ceasefire, brokered by Egypt and based on the 2014 understanding, would take force as of Tuesday/Wednesday midnight.
