ROME, Italy on Tuesday expressed its grave concern over an apparent coup in Burkina Faso, condemning the use of “forcible means” to assume power.
A day after the West African nation’s army said it ousted President Roche Kabore and suspended the national assembly, Rome called for a “return to constitutional order” as soon as possible, said a foreign ministry statement.
