Jordan gov’t resigns ahead of reshuffle

AMMAN, Jordan’s cabinet unanimously tendered their resignations to Prime Minister Omar Al-Razzaz on Monday ahead of a government reshuffle expected in the next few days.

The ministers’ decision comes a week after their fellow Education Minister stepped down in response to teacher strikes over low wages.

The reshuffle will aim to face “challenges of the coming period,” he was quoted as telling state news agency, Petra.
