KNG stresses keenness on backing State’s bodies in crises

– Deputy Chief of Kuwait’s National Guard (KNG) Lieutenant General Sheikh Ahmad Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on Wednesday affirmed that the KNG is keen on harnessing all human and material capabilities to support all state’s bodies in crises and emergencies.

This came in a press statement made by Sheikh Ahmad Nawaf that was issued by the KNG while inaugurating the anti-coronavirus vaccination center, with the aim of backing the state’s efforts to control the coronavirus pandemic.

The center will contribute to alleviating pressures on the Ministry of Health and accelerating vaccinating both citizens and residents so as to reach the societal immunity, Sheikh Ahmad Nawaf said.

He extolled efforts by the units participating in operating the center and providing it with equipment to help people receive the anti-coronavirus vaccines.

He gave priority to vaccinating first the KNG personnel and their relatives, then the retired military people and at last citizens and residents.

He prayed to Allah Almighty to maintain Kuwait under the wise leadership of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.

Meanwhile, KNG Undersecretary Lieutenant General Hashim Al-Refaie said that inaugurating the center came upon instructions of the higher leadership of the KNG, with the aim of backing efforts of the Ministry of Health in vaccinating people.

He added that opening the center is part of a protocol of cooperation between the KNG and the MoH so as to help it in emergency.

MoH Undersecretary Dr. Moustaf Redha praised cooperation of the KNG with the MoH in its efforts to control the coronavirus since the outbreak of the pandemic.
