Kuwait Red Crescent Society KRCS distributed on Sunday prayer rugs, brochures and personal protective supplies to employees and visitors at Farwaniya educational Area as a precautionary measure to confront the coronavirus “Covid-19.” The initiative is a part of KRCS’s continuous efforts to support the various state agencies to implement the expanded preventive campaign to confront the novel coronavirus, Director of youth and volunteers department in the KRCS Dr. Musaed Al-Enezi told KUNA.
He praised the steps taken by the Farwaniya educational Area to protect employees and visitors from the virus, including the distribution of masks and sanitizers, the measurement of their temperature and physical distancing in cooperation with the Kuwaiti Red Crescent before entering the educational area building.
Al-Enezi said that the program which was initiated since the beginning of the crisis “has left a good impact in the hearts of the beneficiaries, who always express their thanks and appreciation for the humanitarian efforts made by KRCS.” He appreciated the KRCS volunteers for their great role in distributing preventive health supplies, food baskets and daily meals since the outbreak of the coronavirus crisis.
He stressed that the association is keen to attract more volunteers to contribute to protecting society from the virus.
Al-Enezi also praised the great efforts made by the political leadership to limit the spread of Coronavirus and its concern for the safety of citizens and residents.
