KRCS will support humanity efforts in line with Kuwait’s policy

Chairman of Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) Dr. Hilal Al-Sayer affirmed Sunday that the society will always support humanitarian efforts according to Kuwait’s charitable policy.

On the 56th anniversary of its foundation on January 10, 1966, Dr. Al-Sayer praised the huge efforts by all volunteers in order to enhance Kuwaiti humanitarian role in assisting all disasters’ victims.

The society has been promoting aid in various fields since its establishment spreading all over to reach 104 countries worldwide, he added.

Dr. Al-Sayer also said that the KRCS offered last year donations to several countries in order to beat the pandemic of coronavirus.

The society has permanent programs for supporting local institutions like houses for the orphans, disabled, and elderly people, he said, adding that the KRCS also supports more than 5,000 needy families who have been registered in its records.
