On Friday, the team from King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) met with the External Relations Officer at the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA).

The UN official provided the KSrelief team with a briefing on the current humanitarian situation and the coordination mechanisms being carried out by the OCHA office in Port Sudan to coordinate humanitarian efforts among various operating organizations.

The KSrelief team, in turn, briefed the UN official on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s urgent intervention mechanism through the KSrelief to assist the Sudanese people, as well as the Saudi relief airlift that has been dispatched to help the affected and displaced people
