Kuwait Airways and SriLankan Airlines announced the launch of a new codeshare partnership on its flight operated between Kuwait to Colombo, to enhance the relation between both countries.
Chief Executive Officer of Kuwait Airways, Maen Razouqi stated in a press release on Wednesday that Kuwait Airways will operate three weekly flights to Colombo starting from October 2022, and SriLankan Airlines currently operates a daily flight to Kuwait.
Razouqi added that the partnership keeps up with the high demand on flights traveling to the Middle East and Europe through Kuwait, as well as flights traveling to the Indian Subcontinent and Far East Asia through Colombo.
Kuwait Airways announced last February the launch of 17 new flight destinations, bringing the total number of destinations to 57.
