– His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah sent on Thursday a cable to Iraqi President Dr. Abdullatif Jamal Rashid to congratulate him on winning the confidence of the Iraqi Council of Representatives.
In his cable, His Highness the Amir expressed wishes for President Rashid to succeed in realizing the aspirations of the Iraqi people, lauding the firm relations between the State of Kuwait and the Republic of Iraq.
His Highness the Amir reaffirmed the shared desire to further strengthen the bilateral ties and open new horizons of cooperation in all fields to serve the interests of both countries.
He wished President Rashid everlasting wellbeing, and sisterly Iraq permanent security, stability and prosperity
