Riyadh: His Highness the Amir of the State of Kuwait Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah extended his gratitude to the Saudi leadership for hosting the Gulf-US Summit, acknowledging Saudi Arabia’s significant role in regional and international affairs.

According to Kuwait News Agency, His Highness the Amir conveyed messages to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, expressing appreciation for the warm hospitality provided during the summit. The Amir highlighted the deep-rooted bonds between Kuwait and Saudi Arabia, emphasizing the summit’s role in strengthening these ties. The Gulf-US Summit, attended by former US President Donald Trump, underscored Saudi Arabia’s crucial influence in the region and beyond.

In his message to King Salman, His Highness Sheikh Meshal noted Riyadh’s commitment to enhancing US-Gulf relations amid pressing global developments. He emphasized the need for unified efforts and visions to bolster security and stability worldwide. The Amir praised the extensive preparations made by Riyadh for the summit, expressing hope that its outcomes would further mutual cooperation. He concluded by wishing King Salman continued health and success in leading Saudi Arabia toward growth and prosperity.

In a separate message to Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman, the Amir reiterated his sentiments, acknowledging the successful completion of the fifth GCC-US Summit and his subsequent visit to the Kingdom.
