Paris: His Highness the Amir’s representative, Kuwait’s Communications Minister Omar Al-Omar, and Qatari Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Mohammad Al-Mannai, engaged in discussions on enhancing cooperation in communications, digital technology, and artificial intelligence.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the meeting took place on the sidelines of the AI Action Summit on Artificial Intelligence held in Paris. The ministers explored future possibilities for developing their partnership to support digital transformation and innovation in the region. Al-Omar emphasized Kuwait’s commitment to advancing regional and global development in communications and technology, highlighting the role of AI in sustainable development and digital solutions.
Al-Mannai praised the bilateral relations between Kuwait and Qatar, stressing the importance of exchanging capabilities to achieve future goals for the benefit of both nations. He noted that the AI Action Summit gathers global expertise in AI technology, discussing its impact on the economy and society and fostering international cooperation in this field.
Al-Omar, representing His Highness the Amir, is among approximately 100 world leaders and a thousand civil society and private sector representatives attending the summit.
