Kuwait-based planning body urges more pan-Arab volunteerism

A Kuwait-based planning body on Wednesday underlined the significance of more volunteer projects in the wider Arab region, saying such endeavors help usher in national development.

Fresh off garnering an international order in recognition of his contributions towards development projects around the globe, Arab Planning Institute (API) chief Dr. Bader Malallah said he was grateful for the accolade, which is a testament to the body’s support of volunteerism in the region.

The order given to the Kuwaiti official by the Saudi Arabia-based Prince Mohamamd bin Fahad institute is in acknowledgment of the “technical and logistical” API has provided in a bid to give impetus to volunteer projects around the region
