Kuwait beats Saudi 2-1 goals, qualifies to Asia U-23 finals

– Kuwait national football team beat Saudi Arabia 2-1 goals to qualify for finals of the Asian Football Confederation’s (AFC) Under-23 Asia Cup, which will be held next year in Uzbekistan.

Kuwait’s goals in the match held in Uzbekistan came through Eid and Yousef Al-Rashidi, while Fares Al-Rubaikan scored for Saudi Arabia.

With the win, Kuwait officially qualifies to the tournament regardless of what happens in the Group D’s matches gathering Saudi Arabia, Uzbekistan, and Bangladesh.

Last Wednesday, Kuwait beat Bangladesh by 1-0 goals.
