Kuwait Bids Farewell to Military Martyrs Ahmad Farhan Harat and Musaad Dhahi Saleh

Kuwait City: Kuwait’s Major Sergeant Ahmad Farhan Harat and Sergeant Musaad Dhahi Saleh were laid to rest in Sulaibikhat Cemetery after losing their lives during a military exercise.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the funeral ceremony was attended by distinguished figures including Minister of Defense Sheikh Abdullah Ali Abdullah Al-Sabah, Undersecretary of Defense Ministry Sheikh Dr. Abdullah Meshal Al-Sabah, and Deputy Chief of Kuwait’s General Staff Air Vice Marshal Sabah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. Senior officials from the army and security bodies, along with numerous attendees, were also present to pay their respects.

“Kuwait’s land has embraced two martyrs who sacrificed sincerely and honorably their souls during their duties. Their deaths are a great loss for all of us,” said the Minister of Defense. He emphasized that the Kuwaiti army will forever honor the two martyrs for their dedication and service to the homeland.

The Minister further highlighted the importance of sacrifices made by military personnel, urging them to continue their serious efforts for the nation. He mentioned that specialized technical teams, in collaboration with the US, have been formed to investigate the cause of the incident, and stressed the significance of adhering to high safety standards during military exercises.

The Deputy Chief of the General Staff expressed pride in the martyrs, acknowledging their honorable service and praying for divine mercy and comfort for their families.
