Kuwait chief lawmaker heads to Geneva for talks with legislative body

Kuwait’s top lawmaker Marzouq Al-Ghanim left for Geneva on Wednesday to hold talks with a global body of legislators to shore up international support for the Palestinians in the wake of the worst Middle East violence in years.

Al-Ghanim, representing pan-Arab parliaments, is due to meet with Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) chief Duarte Pacheco to discuss the latest developments in the Palestinian territories, according to the Kuwaiti parliament’s news service.
