Kuwait strongly condemned on Saturday the continued Houthi drone attacks, targetting civilians and residential areas in Saudi Arabia, after Coalition forces earlier intercepted several attacks.

These increasing attacks constitute a threat to the stability and security of Saudi Arabia, and the stability of the region, read a Kuwait Foreign Ministry statement. They also represent a challenge to the international community’s efforts to put an end to the conflict in Yemen as well as being a blatant breach of international law, the statement added.

Kuwait underlined the need for the international community to hold those responsible accountable for their actions under international law.

The ministry went on to affirm Kuwait’s support of Saudi Arabia, and the measures Riyadh takes to ensure its security, stability and sovereignty.
