Kuwait’s daily coronavirus cases rose by 53 to 411,233, while deaths increased by one to 2,440, the Health Ministry said Monday.
Another 102 virus patients were cured of the virus, raising the total number of recoveries to 408,010, the ministry spokesperson Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad in a statement to KUNA.
The number of patients receiving medical care in COVID-19 wards is 56, including 16 in intensive care units, he said, adding that another 783 are receiving regular treatment.
Some 20,509 swab tests were conducted over the past day, taking the total to a tad over four million, he noted.
The spokesman urged nationals and residents alike to follow health guidelines; mainly social distancing, as the sole way to rein in the spread of the virus.
