Kuwait City: His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah received on Sunday UN Secretary-General’s Special Representative for Iraq and Head of the United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI) Mohammad Al-Hassan at Al-Seif Palace on the occasion of his visit to Kuwait. Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdullah Al-Yahya and Undersecretary of Foreign Affairs at the Diwan of His Highness the Crown Prince, Mazen Al-Issa, attended the meeting.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the gathering underscored the importance of collaboration between Kuwait and the United Nations in supporting Iraq. Discussions at the meeting focused on regional stability and Kuwait’s ongoing humanitarian and developmental assistance to Iraq through various UN initiatives.
