Kuwait City: Kuwait crude oil gained USD 1.49 during Wednesday’s trading, reaching USD 73.97 per barrel compared with USD 72.48 per barrel the previous day, the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) announced Thursday.
According to Kuwait News Agency, while Kuwait’s crude oil prices saw an increase, Brent futures experienced a decline, dropping USD 1.31 to USD 72.31 per barrel. Similarly, West Texas Intermediate (WTI) also faced a decrease, falling USD 1.40 to USD 68.54 per barrel.
The market’s movement highlights the fluctuations in global oil prices, with Kuwait’s oil showing a contrasting trend compared to other benchmarks like Brent and WTI. The changes in oil prices are closely monitored by stakeholders and can have implications on the global energy market.
