Kuwait: Kuwait’s Direct-Aid Society’s office in Yemen has launched an initiative aimed at providing Iftar meals to 3,800 families across three Yemeni governorates. This effort is part of the ongoing “Kuwait Is by Your Side” campaign.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the regional chairman of the office, Ali Butait, announced in a press statement on Thursday that the project involves the distribution of food baskets. These baskets, which contain essential items, are expected to support 26,600 individuals until the conclusion of Ramadan.

Butait expressed gratitude towards the philanthropists and donors who have contributed to the project. Their support is seen as vital in mitigating the hardships faced by thousands of families amid Yemen’s challenging economic and social environment.
