– Kuwait failed to qualify for the Fifa Arab Cup after a 2-0 qualification round defeat to Bahrain at Khalifa International Stadium in Doha on Friday.
Al-Riffa forward Ali Haram scored both goals for his side in the 74th minute and the fourth minute of added time, respectively.
Bahrain will join the 16-side Qatar-hosted tournament, which kicks off on November 30.
The match saw midfelder Bader Al-Mutawa earn his 185th cap to overtake Egypt’s Ahmed Hassan as the most-capped international men’s footballer in history. (
