– Kuwaiti Environment Public Authority announced Sunday the launch of Kuwaiti Environmental Week, starting tomorrow on Monday and will continue until March 12.

The goal of the campaign is increase environmental awareness in society.

Samira Al-Kandari, Acting Director General of the authority, said in a press statement Sunday, that the environmental week will include many events and activities aimed at preserving environmental sustainability and raising the level of environmental awareness in the country.

Al-Kandari added that this year’s environmental week comes in line with the behavioral change campaign for the consumption of single-use plastic products entitled (Let’s go around and change) under the slogan (Your environment is your responsibility), which was launched by the Environment Public Authority in cooperation with the United Nations Environment Program West Asia Office last February.
