Kuwait Foreign Minister Sheikh Salem Abdullah Al-Jaber Al-Sabah headed on Sunday Kuwait’s delegation participating at the Arab League extraordinary meeting at the permanent representatives level, upon Egypt’s invitation the Chairman of the 159th session, with participation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and Republic of Iraq, to discuss the developments of the Syrian file.

During the meeting, all efforts aimed at finding a political solution to the Syrian crisis were discussed, and everything contributes to ending its repercussions and achieving the aspirations of Syrian people towards security and stability in addition to support joint Arab actions.

The meeting also discussed the developments of the Sudanese file and the critical situation in the Sudanese arena and steps to support truce and immediate cease-fire, stressing the importance of respecting Sudan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

They also tackled the developments of the Palestinian cause and the current situation in Jerusalem.
