Kuwait FM receives letters from Algeria leader, Palestinian counterpart

Kuwait’s Foreign Minister Sheikh Salem Al-Sabah received letters on Monday from Algeria’s President Abdelmadjid Tebboune and Palestinian counterpart Riyad Al-Maliki.

The Algerian letter, addressed to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, was handed by visiting foreign ministry spokesman and presidential envoy Abdelhamid Abdawi.

It centered on bilateral relations and current happenings around the world, in addition to the outcomes of the Arab Summit recently held in the Algerian capital.

The Kuwaiti top diplomat also received Palestinian ambassador to the country Rami Tahboub, who handed him a letter during the reception, which revolved around latest developments in the Middle East conflict.

Sheikh Salem reiterated calls for the international community to take a stand against continued “Israeli aggression,” while also condemning these actions that aim to “alter” the landscape of the holy city of Jerusalem
