KUWAIT CITY: Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdullah Al-Yahya, who also serves as chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Sumait Award for African Development, welcomed the recipients of the prestigious award.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the winners honored by Minister Al-Yahya included Dr. Cathrine Nakalembe, recognized in the category of education and food security, as well as representatives from the African Agricultural Technology Foundation and the International CAMFED Organization. During the meeting, discussions focused on the significant contributions of the winners in implementing effective programs, studies, and projects aimed at enhancing education and food security across the African continent.
Minister Abdullah expressed his gratitude for the substantial efforts made by the awardees in achieving the goals set forth by the Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Sumait Award, emphasizing the importance of their work in fostering development in Africa.
